The Sheraton Grand, Mayfair in association with Lock Hatters

Afternoon tea: The Sheraton Grand, Lock Hatters

Served in the iconic hotel’s Art Deco lounge, The Palm Court, the tea celebrates 340 years of millinery excellence from their established Mayfair neighbours, Lock & Co. Hatters. With pastries inspired by the world’s most recognisable hats such as the bowler and the fedora, the beautifully designed afternoon tea is a love letter to true British artistry.

Elegantly presented in a Lock & Co. hat box, there is a true theatricality to the delivery, with the cakes arriving perched like miniature works of art on top, and delicious savoury treats for diners to discover inside.

Located only a short walk apart, the Sheraton Grand London and Lock & Co. are both steeped in Mayfair’s history. The Palm Court has been dedicated to the British ceremony of Afternoon Tea since the hotel first opened in 1927, whilst Lock & Co. has been making fine English hats since 1676. Proudly fitting hats for many historical figures including Admiral Lord Nelson, Queen Elizabeth II, Sir Winston.
